Translating luxury-hotel brand guidelines into a practical, scalable website design system.
The Ishigaki property is substantially larger than the brand's first hotel, requiring more pages and a design system that could extend the original identity.

The core challenge was balancing a distinctive luxury identity with a simple, usable website. The overall schedule was three months, while design needed to be settled within the first month as photography and copy were still being created in parallel.
I led client sessions with live edits in Figma, turning discussions and feedback into design changes during the meeting. This kept decisions concrete and allowed details to evolve without slowing the schedule.
The final experience communicates the hotel's luxury through editorial photography while keeping information and booking paths clear on mobile. It launched on time, was well received, and led to continued work across the seven x seven brand.
